Milan
Milan is the Italian capital of fashion, and the second largest city in the country. Located South of the Alps, in the Po river valley, the capital of the Lombardy region is also a center of Italian culture and business. Roughly 1,3 million people live in the city, to which you can fly with Austrian Airlines and arrive at Milan Malpensa airport. The city is well known for its annual fashion shows, and the opera, the "Scala", is world renowned. Furthermore, it has one of the most famous Catholic Dome churches worldwide. Two of the most famous Italian football clubs play here as well, Internazionale and AC Milan. There are countless treasures of art to be viewed in Milan, among them pieces by legendary Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci.
