Situated near central Egypt, Luxor has a rich history and is considered to be the "world's greatest open air museum" due to its tombs and statues. Modern day Luxor offers many temples, museums and natural landscapes to visit. You can explore some of the tombs that were made for historical kings and Pharaohs. While most of the tombs are not open to the public, Luxor does open roughly 18 of them. While entering the tombs, take note of the statues that were constructed several thousand years ago. Luxor offers many places to visit, photographic opportunities, and will create memories that will last a lifetime.
